C.J. Victoria fishing charters is booking cod and haddock fishing trips to open our season on May 1st. Cod and haddock trips are a great way for you to get some offshore experience. Departing from our homeport in Winthrop MA at 4:30 am, these trips typically run anywhere from 30 – 60 miles from Boston and last a full day. Plan on a return sometime after 2:30 pm. We bottom fish with either bait, jigs or both in approximately 120′ – 330′ feet of water.

The trip starts by scouting locations for fish. When we find them, it’s all hands on deck to get the days catch into the coolers. On our journey back to port, typical around 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm, your mate will fillet your catch for you to take home.
We will supply everything for fishing, rods and reels, bait and jigs. As usual our rods are all high quality custom made with two speed reels to provide to best experience possible.
