Today we launched C.J. Victoria in the water. The launch and sea trials went very well. We are ready to fish.

Our Fishing Seasons:
Here is a bit about our seasons. We start with full day offshore Stellwagen Bank Cod and Haddock trips. These trips depart at 4:30 am and return around 2:30 pm. These are great trips for excellent table fare. Best times are Mid April, May and June. We run these trips all season until October.

Then Flounder season starts in May. These are the first of our half or 3/4 day trips. We fish for flounder inshore around Quincy Bay and Boston harbor. Flounder fishing is good until late June early July.

This year we are starting our Striped Bass trips fishing in Boston Harbor one week early, May 11th. I predict that the warm winter will have the bass in and on the feed. This is also a great trip to go for a half day or 3/4 day. We usually don’t see Bluefish on these trips until July. However, with the mild winter, reports are that the Bluefish will also be early.

Finally the grandaddy of fish the Giant Bluefin Tuna. We start to offer these trips towards the end of June and will run the rest of the season to November. These trips are full day. They depart 4:30 am and return around 2:30 pm.
