Big bass are moving into the harbor

We are starting to see more big striped bass moving into the Boston harbor. The past few days had challenging action in calm weather and lights out action in rough weather.

Customers ask me all the time when is the best time to go. It’s hard to put an exact time. Of course morning trips typically are good. However, lately the afternoon trips have been seeing constant tight lines. Pick a trip and go, that’s the best time. If you don’t pick a trip you surely won’t catch fish.

Flounder action has been good. We had some visitors to the Boston area who got into some great flounder fishing.

Flounder is a great fish to eat, either on the grill or deep fried.

Our schedule is getting booked quickly lately, so plan your trip now to get a good date. Hope to see you there.
